Once Again, Jane Fonda Stuns on The Red Carpet
Jane Fonda never fails to captivate the audience with her timeless elegance and sophisticated style.
Jane Fonda’s Hollywood Glamour in 45 Iconic Looks
On Saturday, February 8, Jane Fonda graced the 36th annual Producers Guild Awards, an event that honors the best in film production. At 87 years old, the internationally recognized American actress proved once again that she remains a style icon, surprising fans with her presence and fashion choices on the red carpet.
Just like her varied roles on screen, Jane Fonda’s fashion sense has evolved over the decades. She has embraced the fashion trends of each era, transitioning from the bohemian chic of the 70s to the fitness craze styles of the 80s. Nowadays, the star of the comedy series “Grace & Frankie” has shifted to chic and elegant attire, swapping ball gowns for sleek, sophisticated suits. In a 2015 interview with W magazine, Fonda expressed, “I look my best when I’m wearing something structured, with no frills or bows.”
Her style has also become more sustainable. As a prominent climate change activist, Jane Fonda declared in 2020 that she would no longer purchase new clothes. Speaking to WWD, she said, “When I realized consumerism was out of control and that too many people defined themselves through shopping, I vowed never to buy new clothes again. I wear my own clothes, haven’t changed my size, and decided I wouldn’t buy anything new. I even wore an Oscars dress that I had worn five years earlier.”
Jane Fonda’s Choice of Attire at the Producers Guild Awards
For the 36th Producers Guild Awards, Fonda, known for her role as the formidable stepmother in “Monster-in-Law,” chose to wear a suit again, but not just any suit. She appeared in a soft pink Max Mara ensemble consisting of a cady fabric jacket with a belt (priced at 745 euros) and matching flowing trousers (405 euros). To add a vibrant touch to the monochrome outfit, she carried a golden bag. Her accessories included a long pearl necklace and dangling golden earrings.
This wasn’t the first time Jane Fonda opted for a Max Mara ensemble. In February 2023, at the premiere of the movie “Tom Brady at Any Price,” she walked the red carpet in a purple Max Mara suit. The brand even featured her look on their Instagram account. Since then, she has frequently been seen wearing outfits from the Italian label.
Jane Fonda’s recent red carpet appearance reaffirmed that at 87 years old, she continues to be a paragon of timeless elegance.
