Farewell to the Midi Dress: Camilla Parker Bowles Unveils an Unexpected Fashion Choice
On July 23, King Charles III and his wife graced the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Queen Camilla’s outfit choice was the talk of the event.
Queen Camilla Parker-Bowles’ Most Memorable Fashion Moments
For the 23rd edition of this sports event, inspired by the Olympic Games, the royal couple made a striking appearance. They arrived as if stepping out of a time machine, dressed in coordinated outfits. While Charles donned a dark navy suit, Camilla dazzled in a vivid royal blue. Breaking from her usual preference for midi-length dresses, Camilla opted for a bold fashion statement this time. She surprised everyone with a jumpsuit designed by Anna Valentine. The outfit featured long sleeves and a front zipper, which suited the London native perfectly and highlighted her blonde hair with its vibrant color.

Camilla’s accessories were also on point. She wore blue suede pumps with modest heels by British brand Eliot Zed, perfectly matching her jumpsuit. Complementing her outfit was the “Bella” handbag, a result of the collaboration between Sanderson and Launer London, which hung elegantly from her arm. As for jewelry, Camilla displayed her cherished pieces.
We noticed her gold and ruby earrings, a gift from her grandchildren, and the “Vintage Alhambra 5 motifs” bracelet from Van Cleef & Arpels, which she adores. At 79 years old, Queen Camilla continues to show that she can still surprise and captivate with her fashion choices.
