Exploring Historical Riches in Style

On July 15th, Spain’s Leonor and Sofia took a trip to the ancient ruins of Empuries in the eastern part of the country. This visit came just a day after the Princess of Girona awards ceremony. The sisters, leaving their royal parents behind, embarked on an official outing together. They explored this unique archaeological site, the only location in the country where Greek and Roman remains coexist. For this occasion, Princess Leonor, the heir to the Spanish throne, stepped out as the Princess of Asturias. Fresh from sporting an all-white ensemble the previous day, she introduced a charming splash of color to her outfit. She wore a pair of white trousers and a matching top, over which she donned a raspberry-colored linen blazer from Mirto.

Accessories That Make a Statement

On her feet, Leonor chose the “Ibiza” espadrilles priced at 90 euros from Espadrilles Picón. However, it was her choice of handbag that truly captured our attention. Breaking away from the conventional, she opted for a bag that was a cross between a clutch and a satchel. The linen bag named “The Grand Tour” by Heimat Atlantica was her pick for the day.

This Paris-based brand, established in 2016, perfectly blends traditional craftsmanship with the luxury fashion world, offering unique bags and accessories. At 20 years old, the future Queen of Spain is highlighting a prominent French label, showcasing a distinct and elegant style.
