The Dutch Queen is Swiftly Transitioning from Summer to Fall Fashion
A Sophisticated Outfit for a Financial World Meeting
On July 7th, Maxima of the Netherlands had a meeting with American banker Jamie Dimon at the Huis ten Bosch palace in The Hague. For this occasion, she chose an elegant outfit in autumnal shades.
It was at the Dutch royal palace where the queen hosted the Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase to discuss financial matters. Having a background in finance herself, including a stint at HSBC in New York before marrying the King of the Netherlands, Maxima was evidently pleased to engage with the banker. During this meeting, she caught our attention with her dress choice. While bright and colorful shades are typical of summer, the mother of three opted for a darker hue. She wore a burgundy red ensemble designed by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, consisting of a long-sleeved shirt and a coordinating midi skirt. The outfit highlighted her waist and featured ruffles at the shirt collar, along with ecru patterns that made it an ideal look for fall.
Maxima’s Accessories: Simple Yet Elegant
Regarding her accessories, Maxima of the Netherlands kept it simple. She wore one of her favorite pairs of shoes that she often reuses for various occasions. These were designed by Gianvito Rossi, in a suede material, matching the color of her ensemble. Born in Argentina, Maxima has a knack for coordinating her outfits seamlessly.
As for jewelry, she opted for a pair of dangling earrings and her usual rings. At 55, Maxima of the Netherlands appears to be already dipping into her autumn wardrobe even as a heatwave begins to emerge.
