During a recent Roland-Garros match, Vianney captured attention for something beyond his musical talents by showcasing a glimpse of his relatively unknown clothing brand.
From The Voice Coach to Fashion Entrepreneur
Vianney, known as a successful singer-songwriter and coach on The Voice, has also been nurturing a passion for fashion design. On May 28, he made a striking appearance at Roland-Garros, wearing an outfit entirely from his own brand, which he launched in 2021.
After spending several months away from the public eye building a cabin in the wilderness, Vianney chose the Roland-Garros event for his high-profile comeback. He highlighted his clothing line, Vrai, by wearing a white striped polo embroidered with the brand’s name across the chest, paired with faded denim jeans and white sneakers.
Behind this fashion venture lies a long-standing passion. Long before his rise to music stardom, the singer of “Pas là” studied fashion design at ESMOD, graduating in 2014. This background led to the creation of the Vrai label a few years later: a family-run venture where his mother oversees development while he directs the artistic vision and designs each item. His personal involvement is evident in the brand’s identity, which mirrors his own style with clean lines, comfortable cuts, and well-balanced color accents.
A Commitment to Sustainable Fashion
Vrai is also committed to more sustainable fashion practices, focusing on organic and natural materials, manufacturing in France and Europe, and recyclable packaging.
The brand takes its commitment further with “OH! HAPPY DAY,” an event organized monthly where all profits from sales are donated to charitable organizations.
This blend of personal style, entrepreneurial spirit, and social responsibility marks Vianney’s venture into fashion as distinctive and heartfelt, mirroring the authenticity he brings to his music.
