In Red and Black: Jane Fonda’s Stylish Statement at the Ceremony
The WIF Honors event took place on November 6 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Jane Fonda stole the spotlight, not only for the award she presented but also for her striking evening attire.
Jane Fonda: Hollywood Elegance in 45 Iconic Looks
The annual Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, popularly known as the WIF Honors, saw a gathering of stars who came to celebrate women in the industry. During the event, the Jane Fonda Humanitarian Award was presented by the actress herself to Jamie Lee Curtis, in recognition of Curtis’s long-standing commitment to philanthropy and human rights. While many celebrities donned glamorous gowns for the event, Jane Fonda chose a more assertive ensemble—a vibrant red pantsuit that stood out beautifully against the black backdrop of the photocall. The satin lapels of her blazer added a touch of refinement, while the high-waisted cut of the trousers elegantly elongated her figure.

To complete her outfit, the 87-year-old American opted for black. The unexpected item: a plain round-neck T-shirt adorned with the word “resist.” This simple yet powerful message encapsulates Jane Fonda’s activism, a committed figure in Hollywood.
As for accessories, the star swapped out high heels for more understated black booties. A few stacked rings and small golden hoops were all that was needed to complete this bold and elegant look, worn with the confidence she is known for.
