From an early age, Lily-Rose Depp has been following in the footsteps of her famous parents, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. She has acted alongside Camille Cottin in “Les Fauves” and Natalie Portman in “Planétarium,” and even performed with Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, in the series “The Idol.” Additionally, like her mother before her, she has become a Chanel ambassador. She also had a close relationship with the late Karl Lagerfeld during her younger years.

Soon to celebrate her 26th birthday, the young actress made her first runway appearance in a bridal gown for the iconic French brand nearly a decade ago! She shared with Madame Figaro that the Spring-Summer 2017 haute couture show remains her fondest memory. “There have been many, but I believe walking as a Chanel bride was the most wonderful moment of my time with the house. I was 17 and incredibly nervous,” she explained.

It was her mother who inspired her fashion journey. In the same interview, she discussed her connection with Chanel, revealing that she used to sneak into her mother’s wardrobe! “My relationship with Chanel first started with my mother’s closet, which I would rummage through as soon as I could crawl. I also loved watching her get ready whenever she had to attend a Chanel show or event,” she told the magazine.

Today, the roles have reversed. It’s her mother who watches her get ready for a Chanel runway show or campaign. The duo is inseparable and often seen in matching outfits, especially at events hosted by the French label! Lily-Rose Depp has developed her own unique style, but the influence of Vanessa Paradis is apparent, as she embodies both class and a bohemian vibe.

She’s pleased with the comparisons to her mother. “I can just tell you that it makes me very happy when people say I look like my mom,” she told Madame Figaro.
