If you don’t have leftover apple sauce, start by making some: Peel, core, and slice the apples into quarters. Add a few drops of lemon juice and simmer in a saucepan over low heat for about 20 minutes. Once the apples are cooked, blend them with an immersion blender until smooth. Set aside.<\/p>\n
Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F (180\u00b0C). Melt the broken pieces of chocolate in the microwave with a bit of water.<\/p>\n
In a mixing bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until smooth. Add the flour and baking powder, mixing thoroughly.<\/p>\n
Add the melted chocolate to the mixture and stir well, then incorporate the apple sauce. Mix again. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking mold. Bake for 25 minutes, making sure the center remains slightly undercooked.<\/p>\n
Allow the fondant to cool completely before indulging without restraint!<\/p>\n\n\n
