Winning Miss France doesn’t necessarily mean a lifetime of high heels and evening gowns, especially after handing over the crown. Like many former beauty queens, comfort often trumps style in their everyday attire. After all, who doesn’t look forward to slipping into pajamas after a long night in stilettos? So, it’s goodbye to tight dresses and uncomfortable shoes. Elodie Gossuin, Miss France 2001, wholeheartedly agrees.<\/p>\n

In a May 2025 interview with Femme Actuelle, Gossuin shared insights into her personal style choices, saying, “I think it relates to aging, but for me, it’s crucial to stay true to myself, and that’s something I strongly advocate for. I pay less attention to fitting into a mold or conforming to trends, others’ opinions, or the typical Miss France attire… I dress according to my desires.”<\/p>\n
Though she has kept some of her Miss France gowns, they mostly stay in the closet. Nowadays, as the face of Tissaia by E.Leclerc, she opts solely for comfortable clothing. “I often dress casually, so in jeans, t-shirts, light sweaters, sneakers, and so on,” she told the French media. “For everything I wear, the priority is feeling good in it,” she continued.<\/p>\n
But this shift also ties closely with her lifestyle. Elodie Gossuin is a mother to 17-year-old twins, Rose and Jules Lacherie, and the former Miss France explains that her focus has shifted from wearing flashy clothes to practical ones that fit her daily routine. “Your priority is no longer about slipping into a dress that takes 15 minutes to lace up, or one that needs another person to zip up, or putting on heels when you need to run around,” she explained to Femme Actuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n
