We drove to the Airbnb I had booked, complete with a jacuzzi. The next day, we visited Claude Monet’s house, where her love for flowers met its match. We enjoyed a lunch filled with moules-frites at a local restaurant. As avid bargain hunters, we spent our afternoon at the McArthurGlen Giverny outlet village.<\/p>\n

The deals were even better than at La Vall\u00e9e Village, where we usually shop. We splurged at Le Tanneur, The Kooples, and Vivienne Westwood\u2014stores not found in central Serris. Back at our stay, we enjoyed the jacuzzi, watched a movie, and chatted about life until we lost track of time. The following day was more relaxed with a trip to Deauville\u2014barefoot on the sand, basking in the zenith sun, and breathing in the sea air.
