A Simple Delight for Family Sundays

This easy treat is perfect for delighting the whole family on a Sunday. I use apples and quinces from my garden, making the most of what I have! Enjoy it warm or cold with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I prefer not to peel my apples as it looks prettier. I slice them into quarters with my mandoline, thinly.

1. Prepare the Tart

Start by rolling out the puff pastry in a tart pan, pressing it down slightly. Spread the compote evenly over the pastry. Using a mandoline, thinly slice the apples and arrange them in a rosette pattern on the compote. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with small pieces of butter.

2. Bake the Tart

Bake in an oven preheated to 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.

3. Serve the Tart

Once out of the oven, brush the tart with slightly warmed quince jelly for a glossy finish. Enjoy your beautiful and tasty creation!
